A Wood Destroying Insect Report, also known as a “WDI” is a special report often needed by Home Inspectors and Loan Officers for mortgage and refinance arrangements. These reports can only be performed by a TDA state licensed termite control professional. The purpose of this report is to provide a full examination of the property for wood destroying insects, such as termites and carpenter ants, as well as conducive conditions for termites. There are many things that will give away that you have a termite infestation, mud tubes, dirt corals, dirt found in wood, and of course termite swarms.
